Welcome to SoulMap™. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use SoulMap™

• You must provide accurate and truthful information

• Users who indicate they are married are not eligible to complete registration for matching features

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate access at our discretion.

2. Nature of Service

SoulMap™ is a platform that facilitates introductions between individuals.

We do not:

• Guarantee compatibility, chemistry, or relationship outcomes

• Guarantee the accuracy, identity, or intent of any user

• Provide background checks or continuous monitoring of users

All interactions, decisions, and outcomes are solely your responsibility.

3. User Responsibility

You agree that:

• You are solely responsible for your profile content and representations

• You will not impersonate others or provide misleading information

• You will exercise independent judgment when interacting with other users

• You assume all risks associated with meeting other users, including offline interactions

 

4. Honesty Badge

The Honesty Badge is a verification feature based on limited information provided by users.

You acknowledge that:

• The badge does not guarantee identity, honesty, or behavior

• SoulMap™ does not independently verify all submitted materials

• The badge may be revoked at any time at our discretion

You agree not to rely solely on the Honesty Badge in making decisions.

 

5. Subscription, Fees & Payments

a. Subscription Model

SoulMap™ offers paid subscription plans (e.g., Premium membership).

• Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled

• Pricing may vary by region or promotion

b. Billing

• Payments are processed through third-party providers (e.g., App Store / Google Play)

• You agree to comply with their billing terms

c. No Refund Policy

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• All payments are non-refundable

• No refunds will be provided for:

  • Lack of matches

  • Unsatisfactory interactions

  • User dissatisfaction

  • Suspension or termination due to violation of these Terms

6. Matching & Experience Disclaimer

SoulMap™ uses algorithms to suggest matches.

You acknowledge that:

• Matching results are based on data and automated processes

• Matches are not guaranteed to be accurate, suitable, or successful

• SoulMap™ is not responsible for:

  • Any mismatch

  • Emotional distress

  • Rejection or communication outcomes

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm other users

• Engage in fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive behavior

• Use SoulMap for commercial solicitation or unauthorized promotion

• Upload illegal, offensive, or inappropriate content

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our sole discretion.

8. Safety & Offline Interactions

SoulMap does not conduct background checks or guarantee user safety.

You agree that:

• Any meeting with another user is entirely at your own risk

• SoulMap™ is not responsible for any incident occurring during or after user interactions

• You are solely responsible for your personal safety and decisions

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SoulMap shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages

• Emotional distress, disappointment, or personal harm

• Financial loss, fraud, or deception by other users

• Loss of opportunity, reputation, or relationships

Your use of SoulMap™ is entirely at your own risk.

10. Assumption of Risk & No Reliance

You acknowledge and agree that:

• You assume full responsibility for all interactions and decisions

• You do not rely on SoulMap™ , its systems, or its features (including the Honesty Badge) as guarantees of any outcome

• Any reliance on other users’ information is at your own risk

11. No Duty to Monitor

SoulMap™ does not undertake any obligation to monitor:

• User activity

• Communications

• Content or behavior

We may take action where necessary but are not responsible for user conduct.

12. Intellectual Property

All content, design, features, and systems of SoulMap™ (including the Honesty Badge system and matching logic) are owned by SoulMap.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute our content

• Reverse engineer or exploit our systems

13. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if:

• You violate these Terms

• You engage in harmful or unlawful behavior

• We determine it is necessary to protect the platform or users

No refunds will be issued in such cases.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SoulMap™ from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from:

• Your use of the platform

• Your interactions with other users

• Your violation of these Terms

15. Changes to Service or Terms

We may modify or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong.
